From Advanced Systems

Hi! I am an Advanced Systems Developer here at Course Development & Web Services. I've been here since 1998, starting out as a Techranger writing web pages and coding WebCT classes. I found that I have a nack for programming and network administration, so now I do a lot more. My chief duty is to maintain CDWS' network of computers and servers. I also work on projects requiring programming and databases.

I graduated from UCF in 2001 with a Bachelors in Computer Science. I'm also a member of UPE, the computer science honors society.

I've been working with computers for most of my life. Not just playing games, I enjoy writing programs, and trying to understand how the different components of the computer work together. My big interest is in operating systems, the most crucial part of the computer. I have been using and studying Linux to understand how this critical part of the system works and can be improved.
